Veteran Summit Players director and actress Sara Helmadollar returns to lead a troupe of high-energy performers in “Vaudeville 2010.” Sara’s directorial debut was in 2005 with “Beehive: A 60’s Musical.” Since then she has directed “Purlie” and co-directed “Vaudeville at the Summit.” She has performed in audience favorites like “Always, Patsy Cline” and “Honky Tonk Angels.” Sara resides in Bluefield, Va., with her husband, Rick, and children, Will, Abby and Eliza Jane. She is an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and other civic organizations.
Shawn Williams, Producer
Shawn Williams first appeared on the Summit stage in 2002 as Sue Ellen in “The Honky Tonk Angels.” Since then, she has appeared in numerous plays and musicals, including “Run for Your Wife,” “Beehive: The 60s Musical,” “Songs of the Season,” and “Steel Magnolias.” She co-directed “Vaudeville at the Summit” and is excited about the production of “Vaudeville 2010.” Shawn recently received her WV teaching license in English and business and is nearing the completion of her Master of Arts in Teaching. She lives in Bluefield, WV, with her husband Steve, where both are active in church and community projects. They have three sons, two daughters (in-law), two grandsons, a granddaughter, and a fourth grandchild expected in June.
